Set up in 2001, the Dot NAME generic domain extension is the single TLD intended for personal web pages only. These domain names can be personal or fictitious names, aliases and/or other labels people are popular by. At the beginning, only third-level registrations were permitted, so if you planned to buy john.doe.name, you would have to do that under .doe.name. In 2004, however, the registration procedures were loosened and 2nd-level registrations were also allowed. Already grabbed third-level names remained functional.

Through our firm, you can buy your .NAME domain for a time interval between one and ten years. You will have the chance to modify the WHOIS contacts, to park your domain, to modify Custom DNS records, etc. You can also move over an already purchased domain to our company if you take its EPP transfer authorization key from the current registrar and we will renew it as soon as the transfer has been completed. There are no special restrictions on who can reserve a .NAME domain name, but in order to maintain the concept behind its creation alive, the Registry organization may check who the Registrant is and if there is no link between the owner and the actual domain, the registration could be challenged.

The .NAME universal TLD is one of the extensions that support internationalized domains, so we can also register a domain in any language at no additional cost. In this way, your dot NAME domain will be recognized in your country or region with the accurate spelling in your local language.
